DiveAssure is a global diving insurance membership that has been striving to help divers worldwide get access to safety and advice on diving medical and dive travel issues. Since 1999, DiveAssure has been helping divers of all levels - Beginners to Technical divers alike and saving them from the devastating expenses of diving medical treatments.

For any beginner class with Blue Culture Diving, we provide free coverage for decompression sickness treatment within all SSI Scuba beginner programs with DiveAssure's "StartDive" plan. After registration for any beginner course, the student is insured for up to 6 months, or upon their course completion.

Did you know how much it costs for decompression sickness treatment and emergency medical evacuation? In Thailand, a public hospital with a hyperbaric chamber will charge you 15,000THB per hour (2022 rate applies), and more on privately operated underwater medicine establishments. According to US Navy recompression tables 6 and 6a for DCS treatment, it would take 4 hours 45 minutes, and 5 hours 50 minutes per treatment respectively. This does not include speed boat evacuation, helicopter evacuation, and so on. Regular health insurance may be limited to non-coverage for scuba diving accidents due to the nature of scuba diving activity.

Pursue higher scuba training, and diving well within your training limit is the best way to enjoy your dive while minimizing such risks and unwanted expenditures. We do wish you a very pleasant vacation anywhere underwater. Other risks, however, such as travel and weather conditions, may cause your trip to be canceled. DiveAssure membership program also eligible a diver to reimburse parts of the canceled trip, lost or damaged scuba equipment, and so on (conditions apply). All this in effort to protect your money from completely lost to dive operators, or other parties involved.

The program will cover your medical expenses, emergency medical evacuations, hyperbaric chamber treatment and many more.

DIVE&TRAVEL​

As in an any vacation, your trip may be cancelled due to unwanted weather conditions, missed flight connections, baggage lost and so on. This program will fully cover most of your need in scuba diving whenever you are diving outside your residence country.

กิจกรรมดำน้ำถึงแม้จะเป็นกิจกรรมนันทนาการ หรือสูงกว่านั้น ถูกจัดให้เป็นกิจกรรมท่องเที่ยวที่มีความเสี่ยงสูง และประกันอุบัติเหตุทั่วไปจะยกเว้นการคุ้มครองจากอุบัติเหตุจากกิจกรรมดำน้ำ และอุบัติเหตุที่เกิดที่กลางทะเลนั้น จะมีค่าใช้จ่ายเคลื่อนย้ายผู้ป่วยและค่ารักษาพยาบาลที่สูงมาก แม้กระทั่งในประเทศไทยเอง ที่โรงพยาบาลรัฐที่มีเวชศาสตร์ใต้น้ำ เช่น รพ.วชิระภูเก็ต, รพ.ฐานทัพเรือสงขลา, รพ.สิริกิตต์, รพ.อาภากร, หรือ รพ.พระปิ่นเกล้า นั้นมีค่าใช้จ่ายการรักษา Decompression Sickness หรือ โรคน้ำหนีบ ที่ชั่วโมงละ 15,000 บาท (ราคาจากบัญชีกลางปี 2565) โดยที่ต้องรักษากันอย่างน้อย 5 - 6 ชั่วโมงต่อการรักษาหนึ่งครั้ง และจะราคาสูงมากขึ้นเมื่อไปดำน้ำยังจุดดำน้ำต่างประเทศ การมีประกันดำน้ำรายปีแผน DiveSafe จึงเป็นการซื้อความเสี่ยงที่ต่ำมาก และสามารถใช้ประกันนี้ดูแลคุณเมื่อคุณไปดำน้ำจุดใดก็ได้บนโลก (ยกเว้นประเทศคิวบา)

การฝึกฝนให้ทักษะดำน้ำเราอยู่ในระดับที่ปลอดภัย และดำน้ำภายในขีดจำกัดนั้น เป็นวิธีที่ดีที่สุด ที่จะทำให้การดำน้ำของคุณนั้นเพลิดเพลินและปลอดภัย รวมไปถึงการลดความเสี่ยงต่อค่าใช้จ่ายฉุกเฉินที่ไม่จำเป็นอีกด้วย

เราอยากให้ทุกคนไปเที่ยวดำน้ำอย่างสนุกสนานและปลอดภัย แต่ปัจจัยความเสี่ยงอื่นเช่นสภาพอากาศหรือการเดินทางหลายต่อ อาจทำให้ทริปดำน้ำของคุณถูกยกเลิกไปโดยปริยาย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการดำน้ำนอกประเทศพำนัก โดย DiveAssure จะมีแผน Dive&Travel คอยรองรับที่จะชดเชยค่าทริปบางส่วนหรืออุปกรณ์ดำน้ำที่เสียหายหรือสูญหายได้อีกด้วย (เงื่อนไขตามที่สมาคม DiveAssure เป็นผู้กำหนด)
